Captain’s Report
Chris enjoyed the captaincy this season, finishing with an 11-17 record. Particularly enjoyable was the tour, which was a winning one this season.

Fixture Secretary’s Report
Two fixtures have been lost from the RTCC season; Kimpton dropped due to the location in the calendar, Rose&Crown due to their club rising in terms of standard. Martin has suggested there is a potential replacement in Archway Ladder team, he will follow up. There are anticipated to be about 6 mid-week fixtures in total for the upcoming season depending on Friendly Four league commitments. The friendly four tournament was received with great enthusiasm this year. Martin has also proposed that the end of season fixture should be kept at Southgate CC (at the Walker cricket ground) on a Saturday so that the team can go out afterward for a proper end of season celebration.

Match Secretary’s Report
Hugh was pleased there was consistently a big squad to choose from, which was a big positive for selection. This season was the first time that there was one match secretary to pick both Friday and Sunday teams, which Hugh mentioned was quite challenging at times.

Treasurer’s Report
Nets were successful despite poor attendance toward the back end of the sessions with £7 profit in total for 11 sessions. The club end of season balance for 2014 was £1,032 which is very pleasing as the end of year balance for 2013 was £792 making a profit of £240 for the 2014 season. I proposed a annual subs increase from £20 to £25 which was approved. I also suggested a £5 (per match) match fee for tour games. A fund-raising event was suggested, complete with non-committee position to oversee creating and delivery (which Andy Pacey has kindly volunteered to fill).

Election of Officers
Captain:
Chris Brooks, proposed and elected unopposed (to return for a 2nd of a possible 3 years).
Vice-Captain:
Andy Pacey, (RL and AP proposed, AP winning by 5-3 majority).
Chairman:
Simon Clarke, proposed and elected unopposed.
Fixture Secretary:
Martin Pirongs, proposed and elected unopposed (has stated this will be his final year in the role).
Treasurer:
Rajat Lal, proposed and elected unopposed.
Match Secretary:
Mid-Week Fixtures:
Matthias Winter (proposed and elected unopposed).
Sunday Fixtures:
Hugh Evans (proposed and elected unopposed).

Selection Policy
Selection was very difficult at times (but all difficult decisions were discussed by the committee), with the rules bent on occasions to accommodate new players. Everyone felt that the selection policy guidelines need no further revision as discretion was used wisely (Hugh’s selections were ratified as correct in all instances).

Kit
The club kit is generally in good condition, with bats donated to the club recently by Mark Beaney. To be checked more thoroughly and inventoried when winter nets commence. 24 match balls required for upcoming 2015 season. Chris Brooks will look to order more caps and will look into the possibility of individual clothing items.

Tour
This season’s tour was a slight struggle in terms of getting numbers out. Bath has been proposed as a new venue as a welcome change from Oxford – this is now the leading contender for the 2015 season tour, with Oxford revisited only as a redundancy. Chris Brooks suggested the possibility of minibus hire and will follow up. Martin Pirongs to organize Bath tour, with assistance from Hugh Evans as necessary.

Nets
Winter nets leading up to the 2015 season have been booked! These will be on Mondays for 9 weeks, 8pm-9pm commencing Mon 2nd February through to Mon 30th March. The pre-pay cost will be £54 up front, or £8 per session if attended on an ad-hoc basis. Annual subs and pre-pay nets together will be £79. Simon Clarke to liase with Adam Beaney with regards to potential in-net coaching. The possibility of summer coaching sessions at North Middlesex on Sundays was raised, Chris Brooks to follow up with Brian (the groundsman) on developing this further.

AOB
End of year Christmas dinner will be on Friday 5th December at the Railway Tavern at £25 per head with a menu to follow. Simon will follow up on this.
